THAT was a mistake!!) to a fellow from Germany and he paid cash over the counter into the local barclays branch great sale with no issues at all. BUT NO CASH = NO SALE. If he arrives too late for the bank offer to put him up at the local travellodge at your expense (it'll only be £50ish) so you can do the bank thing 1st thing
