Last night driving home my TPS light came on all by itself and I checked the pressures and all are right on spec, so I have been reading this thread.

What I don't completely understand is how a magnet passing over the wireless sensors in the valves resets anything, or causes a sensor to stop transmitting a trouble signal? Seems as though all it may do is destroy the sensor's ability to function. Does that "Reset" or turn off the light? What does passing the donut magnet over the stem actually do?

Those DRBIII devices are obscenely expensive and a trip to a dealeer is also rediculously expensive just to get the damned light off.

This car seems to have been designed with too much useless technology.....
