Default Re: 2004 V8 6-speed

Sorry, updates should have been screaming this last weekend.

I was trying differnt chip ideas with the V6 ECU while I tried different coding ideas with the V8 ECU (I have a spare V8 ECU). Well I talked to Bob and the shop his old car is at (whole seperate discussion in itself), went out to my car and the V6 ECU was un-readable... Figured it was a connection problem on the board so I took the hardest swap I did off the board and mangled traces and pads all over the place. . . (insert face-palm here)... I got overwhelmed and decided to try some coding ideas and jumping the starter, that whole thing with the V8 ECU. So I plugged the ECU in and it didn't read. . . Had me freaked out for 2 days. I don't know why but I got a wild hair up my *** to try pushing on one of the connectors you have to modify, just to check connection and sure as **** the TB started actuating. . . . . . . (Huuuge face-palm insertion here)......

So basically, the car may have been running off the key had I checked connections rather than just started tearing the board apart. I will repair the traces and pads, put a new chip on, check the others and report back... Sorry guys.
