For number 3, there is a write up somewhere on the forum. Using a piece of self adhesive Velcro worked for me. Using about a 3" piece of Velcro stuck on the body, where the hatch bumpers touch, solved my problem. Every few years I replace it with new. You only need to use the softer of the two pieces.
