Offering for sale my black SRT-6 hardtop coupe.
41,415 miles as of this posting (August 7, 2013) --->
42,400 miles (December 31, 2013). It is not my DD so it gets a lot of babying (it gets washed more than it gets driven these days). It gets the cushy spot in my garage to keep it out of the elements.
Located just outside of Washington DC in northern Virginia.
I bought it from another forum member at 34,000 miles around October 2011, so you can tell I don't drive it too often (only 7,500 miles in almost 2 years).
Asking $16,999.
The car is unmolested from a mod standpoint with the exception of a Eurocharged ECU tune,
TCU tune, Needswings Single CAI (Updated 12/31/2013) and sprintbooster (the older model for the N/A models), both of which are removable. I also have the small SRT emblem on the front part of the driver side lower grill as other forum members have done. Also have LED license plate bulbs and HID headlights (5000K - so white) - gives the car a subtle, factory look IMO.
As you know, these cars are fast stock! However, I think the Eurocharged tune and SB really take it to the next level from a "butt test" feel, without taking away from the stock look, which I prefer. I have not dyno'd the car but just based on Eurocharged's website, the tune numbers are as follows:
SRT-6 Stock: Power- 330bhp, Torque- 310lb-ft
SRT6 TUNE: Power- 368bhp, Torque- 348lb-ft
See:
Tuning : Crossfire Performance Engine Software with Euro-Flash!
The car is in great shape for a 2005. I can provide you a scan of the CarFax upon request as of the time I purchased it in late 2011. Unfortunately, it did not get to live its life in a garage prior to my ownership and as a result has some imperfections as follows:
1) Clearcoat on the top of the rear and front bumper and the spoiler are starting to show signs of fade (not peeling yet). I was considering have them painted if I keep the car. This is likely a result of the car spending most of its life in South Carolina and North Carolina without being in a garage so it was brutally exposed to the sun. It really isn't bad (you can't tell from a few feet away only when you are standing over top of the car).
2) Superficial curb rash on 3 of out of the 4 rims.
3) Slight rock ding on passenger side rear fender (Barely noticeable unless you are standing over it). No paint damage there.
I have all of my receipts and records since ownership, including proof of 0w-40 Mobil1 oil changes. Replaced IC Pump around 38K miles with the stock Bosch component.
I am early in the selling process and will get around to posting an ad on Cars.com and Autotrader.com. The reason for selling is I already have my Jeep TJ to get me around and would like to put the money from the SRT-6 into my investment account and use it for a down payment on a house eventually. I am also not in a bind, not forced to sell, this is completely voluntary (thankfully I can say that), so I am going to take a no pressure approach to selling this and expect interested parties to do the same.
The car is great - in fact I drove it today and love how the car makes you smile every time you drive it. Would love to keep it in the forum family so to speak.
If you want any more information from me at this time post in this thread or PM me.
