I can see how these would be costly problems if taken to the stealership, but that is why this place is so valuable. Even if you can not wrench, you can buy the right parts, take it to an Indie mechanic, and know roughly how long it should take, all based on info easily found here.
No one here wants to see another owner having issues and not enjoying the car so most of us will do our best to help, hell there may even be a member close to you that will help with your maintenance, in many cases, for a few beers
