hi.about 18 months ago I was in the same boat as you.my 16 year old son wanted a crossfire also.he loved the way it looked and drove.i,as a parent liked the safety features,crash protection.these cars are very safe.the only thing we have done to his car is new tires,they are not cheap.we do our own oil changes.dealership repairs can be expensive.his car is a 2004 with 50,000 miles.there are many low milege cars out there.i would keep looking,140,000 is to many miles for me.if you can find one with a full service history that would be even better.good luck.
