You seriously need to buy the best radar / laser detector you can find. It would certainly have saved you enough money (not to mention aggravation) to pay for itself just this year. I've been using Valentine 1 for many years and it's saved me MANY times from being "one of the chosen" to contribute to the viscous traffic enforcement for profit system that preys upon the motoring public to generate revenue. If I don't have my Valentine 1 I feel like I'm driving "blind".
Red Dog I seam to remember that Mark is some what of a radar expert from some posts from years back. I think he set and calibrated the LEO radars and was involved in testing some of the major brand detectors working for a former employer.
