Per below, I agree. Isn't it the same thing??? Personally my car would have been done long ago with a piggyback or full aftermarket ECU but then you're bypassing the engineering. I also feel that Mercedes knows more about running the engine the way it should be ran, than I do... You would spend tons of time to work out every little kink and flaw, all to get it where it would have been in the first place or just slightly better. Good luck getting a good base quality tune too, because you will be looking at dyno time with someone that knows the software for your piggyback to make the necessary adjustments.

All in all, you could, but would you really want to? Just go with a SRT or 32 amg ECU. If Eurocharged really has made one before then they could give you a good base map in their sleep. I would still buy monitoring to make sure all is well but that for me is a given in the first place. I'm going to do that to mine and it's an NA, aka pointless to monitor lol.
