I don't know for sure but I think that it is corporate (Chrysler Group, LLC), that is to blame for THEIR Exclusion of 41 States in the United States from THEIR Special Extended Warranty covering 2005 year Roadsters for 10 Years or 100,000 Miles!?! (What The F#@$ ?) I wrote them in Auburn Hills twice in the last 2 months and STILL no reply! This was after a really crappy "goodwill" offer after weeks over the phone. I did receive an e-mail reply listing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Tennessee, & Texas as covered States in the United States. I filed a complaint with the NHTSB, and with the Federal Trade Commission, FTC.gov, the latter concerning the arbitrary discrimination of THEIR Special Extended Warranty, "X31". I believe that they CANNOT legally justify THEIR Warranty limitations based upon any State borderlines! I believe that most 05's & perhaps later model years WILL have the same manufacturing defect. I've noticed that the aftermarket suppliers will warranty the window bond for the lifetime of the purchaser.
If anyone would "pm" me, I would sure appreciate a copy of the Extended Warranty Letter. Thank you!
