I purchased one of ebay and now realize ANY dipstick thats long enough and flexible enough will do. All you need to know is distance from the pan when cold and hot. My dipstick is 2 feet too long. How it works is this. Shove it in until it bottoms out on the pan, pull it out and look at the marks. It has 2, one for cold and one for 80º centigrade. If you know those distances any wire, cable, dipstick will work. This forum has those distances in several places and if you search you'll find them along with pictures.
