Hi

While moving to a new city I had to leave my crossfire unused in my uncovered driveway for 9 months. I am now able to bring it to my new home but am having 2 major issues which may or may not be linked.

1. The battery had died so I attached a temporary starter battery and when I turned the ignition to start the engine, smoke began to come out of the interior fuse box by the driver side of the dashboard and there was a burning smell.

2. When i try to turn to turn the ignition off, the engine continues to run even when i take the key out. I have to disconnect the battery to stop the car from running.

I would be really grateful if someone can advise me what to do because I am at a loss.
