Default Re: Racing Stripes?

This is my favorite Crossfire on the forum with stripes.

Over the top racing stripes seem to be a love it, or hate proposition for the Crossfire here on the forum.
Personally, since I've owned 3 cars that came from the factory with them, (a 68 and 69 AMX, and a 96 Viper GTS) I think they look pretty good on "some" sports cars. I think the one major deciding factor is the car needs to have a short wheelbase.
The Crossfire's design seems to lend itself to a number of different "custom" modifications, and I have always thought the 65/66 Shelby Mustang (white with blue stripes) combination would look pretty cool on the Crossfire. I even thought about doing it to my car. But it has a cedar/slate interior, and I think it would look better on a alabaster XF with a grey, or black interior.
Remember, it's your car, and you're the only one you have to please, so never hesitate to go with what you like.
I would suggest using decals, so you can remove them if you change your mind.
