Now they have come out with yet a third filter which is fleece but with the oil cap attached... this was going to sell in the $60.00 range. DC quickly dropped the price back down to $18.50. Although the newest filter is fleece, it is not the same build as the previous one.

Sorry I don't have a photo of the newest filter with cap attached, but see the attachment below for the old ones.

Be careful what you ordered at that website. If you just type in "oil filter" in the search block, it comes back $9.25... their price is $7.40. I presume that is the old paper filter.

Now, if you do the search by P/N which is 5102905-AB, that is the old style fleece filter which they list at $18.50... their price is $14.80.

Unless the shipping was free, it sounds as like they sold you the old paper filter. I was going to order the fleece filter awhile back but with shipping it was still cheaper to buy it from the dealer for $18.50 plus tax.

Hope this helped and let us know which one you got.

* I couldn't get the attachment to load, sorry. Check post #2 in this thread to view them...
At first, on that website, they DID list the old paper filter. However, they contacted me saying Chrysler replaced the old paper one and that they are sending me the new one...which ends in AB. So, I should be ok...darn it anyway. LOL
