Default Re: crankshaft position sensor connector

My CPS was giving a random hard start and equally random code. In went a Borg Warner CPS and every time I hit 4000 rpms the car quit. Reinstalled the original Bosch after cleaning, a little dialectic grease, plugged and unplugged it a few times to make sure it was correctly seated and life is good. Personally, I think a lot of the CPS problems are connector related. I doubt the connectors are bad, just loose or dirty.
