I'll just add that I stuff steel wool in the exh pipes, mice will not chew it. I also get this repellent called "shake away", Mouse Repellent - Rodent Repellent Granules

A friend swears by used kitty litter around the outside of his garage to ward off mice. That might be a bit tough on the nose. Oh, and check your antifreeze strength.
