So pulled both fronts off to have a look - pads OK - as guessed offside sensor wire just touching disc moved it away put everything back and all OK the disturbing thing was all bolts were tight except security bolts on both sides hardly any effort to undo - something to check I think after few miles having wheels off or new tyres fitted!
