If you sign up for satellite on your smart phone you can then get a fm transmitter that plugs into your phone that will transmit that to your head unit. It's possible to accomplish what you want without changing things out. There are a couple ways to do this. Otherwise you may need to get a new satellite compatible head hnit ot get professional install of a satellite unit for your existing unit. Good luck.
