Default Re: Oli Change

LMAO.... I shop for my oil and it is hard to find...so sometimes I have to pay a higher price for oil than what I want too... For the most part, I have been able to find 0w-30 or 0w-40 on sale in the $25 range for 1gal containers. Individual qts are in the $6-7 range. So gallons are cheaper. I need to buy filters and I usually order mine from Rob as I don't like what I find on the shelves around here. I have 3 cars that use this oil and filter now, so it isn't cheap for me anymore and I have to do my own whether I want to or not....It only take me a half hour on the 1st car to set up and get the oil drained. It take about another 15-20 minutes to finish. It takes about the same on the MB I just purchased as well. Not really all that much difference at all. I use to do this a little quicker until I put the belly pans back on...They are a PITA but I do think they make a difference at the higher speeds...I know the pitfalls of oil changes done wrong and these cars are just asking for trouble if they aren't done correctly. I would never trust a quick change lube center with my cars. I had a bad experience at 1 many yrs ago and will never go back.

I am so used to calling them gal containers, but they are 5 qt jugs...that does make a big difference in price...European blend to be exact...
