Default Re: 2012 Autocross Winner

I don't blow up and I don't wreck …... :roll eyes: I don't miss races. That's where everyone should start. Consistency. Then it's a little bit of everything.

I'll try and be more specific from the point of view of my car and how I drive it. No one can out brake me. I try NOT to over brake. Momentum is key even in a powerful car. I get off the corners equal or better than most, except the 4wd's. I've completely modified my driving to take advantage of my cars strengths. NO ***** of steel. If I took higher risks and used every inch of the track like some of my competitors, I'd be even quicker or owner of a wrecked car. I'm always trying new lines and modifying my driving. If you keep doing the same things you keep getting the same times. I try to set a fast time in the first race and experiment in the second. The third depends on where I'm at on the leader board. Normally I try to eliminate all the mistakes of the first two heats. Most of all, I try to have lots of fun as my top priority.
