I agree with Selbyl.
The most likely culprit for the light out indicator is one of the license plate bulbs. It had me confused for days until I stumbled across it.
The fluid indicator - is it on the right side of the dash kind of at the top? Looks like an oil can? If so, and if you've checked your levels, my money would be on the sensor going bad. That sensor is located in the oil pan, so you would need to pull the pan to replace it. I have the same indication and I just ignore it since I don't want to spend the money on replacing the sensor. Last I checked, they were around $150 - $200 plus labor.
Also, you might try to find a Mercedes Benz dealer or an independent shop that specializes in European cars to wrench on it if you can't do it yourself. It being a Chrysler is in "badge" only. Chrysler dealers know very little about these little gems.
