Default Re: Torque Pro for Android

I tend to buy just about everything small and electronic from Amazon any more & have a couple of the little U$18-U$24 BT dongles, one of which I just leave in my WK2 and has been there for nearly two years now. My only concern is that in the Crossfire I may hit it with my left foot in which case I may need to get one of the "mini" units.

AFAIK if it says "1.5" that is a Chinese knockoff of an ELM 327. Seem to do what is needed though.

I have used with Torque (Android) and TouchScan (Windows) both connecting with BT. With the release of BayTrail 8" tabs with Win 8.1 am planning to move to that platform for automotive use.

That said the Android tab and torque worked fine to check for fault codes (none) and run test 06 (all passed) in a Crossfire I am looking at.

Only real issue is where to permanently mount a 8" tab. Any suggestions would be appreciated. On glove box is a possibility if not too far to reach.
