Dunno what you bought but in the US $20 and an Android phone or tab gets you a Mini dongle and Torque.

Torque can do many thins such as
1) identify what sensors your car reports
2) display them
3) report trouble codes
4) identify them
5) prepare a history of all recored tests
6) email report to you
7) record trips including GPS location

Have only had the Crossfire for two days so still installing electronics (Clarion M303, 8" tab) so just using phone for moment (tab can display 17 parameters).
