This is for those of you who have been reading the ongoing debate over the upsolute chip and its lack of data to support its claims, or anyone who has been thinking about buying a chip, or joining the group buy for the Upsolute chip. I have taken it upon myself to go get a Baseline (stock) Dyno of my Crossfire. This is happening tomorrow 4/11/06 @ Modacar in Livermore California. I have spoken with Scott, the Rep. from Upsolute who is trying to arrange the group buy from our forum. He has agreed to let me place a $250 deposit on the chip ($50 for express air mail there and back) and then have another Dyno run done at the same place. This data will put all of our worries to rest, and we will once and for all know exactly what performance gains there are to be had from the Chip. All together this is going to cost me at least $450 to have done, not to mention my time without my car (chip being re-flashed), and time to have the Dynos done. I am asking for donations just for the dyno portion of the cost. The Dynos are going to cost $150. Hopefully there are some of you that want this proof as much a i do, and who better to trust them a member of your on forum who is in the same boat. I will post my Baseline Dyno tomorrow night when i get back from Modacar. Thanks everyone.
