I think you are right there... and the market where you are is probably a lot better than where I am. We have a lot of GM, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, and Honda employees around me. They get their discounts and stay within their lines for the most part. So, XF's are not a big thing around here. I hate to see you part with it. I still think they are classics whether they bring big dollars someday or not. Good luck either way. You know you will miss it. This old car guy has been tempted to go back to bowties a few times. Then I get in one of the XF's and go ripping around town for awhile and get over it...
You are correct about the market. Nashville is on the upper end; not as bad as Riverside CA or a few others but on the upper side of middle for sure.
I worked with a guy who would have several men either drive or fly out of town and buy cars and send them back to Nashville. His company moved about 370 to 400 cars a month just wholesale here in Nashville and then another 35 or so on the retail lot. There is another company even larger. Nashville is a good market price wise for wholesaling cars.
I will miss it, but it may be time right now. Thanks for the input. Jimmy
