Default Re: Black Max Edition? HUH?

Personally I think this whole "Black Max Edition" is much ado about nothing.
Dealers have been guilty of "Dresing" up slow moving inventory for years just to get somebody interested enough to buy it and get it off their lot.
Yes, putting a decal on the car and telling a potential customer it was a "Special Edition" from the factory is
deceitful, and probably illegal (or should be) in most states. But by the looks of the car that's For Sale now, that's not the case. The car is not being misrepresentated.
As for the car being a Death trap, yes it needs a functioning spoiler. Daimler/Chrysler felt the NA spoiler was good for 150 mph, and a stock SRT only goes a few miles an hour faster (thanks to programed limits). So that critical area needs to be addressed.
From what I've read, the only things it would take to bring this car back to legitimate SRT Status would be:
Wheels
Rear spoiler
Emblems
Front Bumper cover/with fog lights
Seats
Radio
Brakes
Minor paint work

Deligent Salvage Yard web site surfing should locate all the neccessary hardware needed to put this car back to its original Factory condition.
It's not a salvage vehicle, a theft recovery, or flood car. I didn't notice any record of body repair either. It comes with a good title and is probably one of the most highly documented Crossfires available.
To be honest, if I were in the market for an SRT6 or an automatic Crossfire in that color, I'd probably make them an offer.
