When I bought my Crossfire, the previous owner had put his German Shepherd in it all the time. There was fur everywhere. Try some Turtle Wax Upholstery Cleaner. It didn't get all the fur, but most of it came out. With a few treatments I'm sure you could get it out of the carpet.
