Take a new, clean microfiber towel and fold it in quarters. Get one side slightly damp and use that in a wiping motion over the carpet and it should pick up the majority of the dog hair. If that doesn't get it all, look for a pet hair removal brush in your local auto parts store - it should have fairly thick, soft rubber "bristles" that will pull up the hair.
