Talk Crank or talk Wheel. Just don't mix them.
Since we lose close to a thrid of our crank to the wheels, 187 comes to 280 HP. My last dyno with Jake was 197 at the wheel. At least 290HP at the crank.
As for the super duper exhuast, a back Cat delete (in conjuction with intake upgrades) gains two to three HP according to the guys at Eurocharged. Take your argument up with them.
These figures of yours are not possible. Newbies will get the wrong idea.
280/290 hp is not in the books with those mods, I had them except for the exhaust.
Some people here do not like to upset you so they ignore your errors. I'm not trying to upset you, I just think those numbers are BS.
Not one tuner has mentioned 290hp, the best was 265 and that was laughed at.
Valk had 170 hp before the tune and gained 17 hp.
If losses were 1/3 then he actually gained 25 hp.
25 plus 220 = 245 hp, not 280.
But losses are not 1/3, they are approximately from 20 (manual) to 25% (auto). These may be a bit high but ....
Valks is an auto, (170/3) x 4 = 227 hp. A bit high,
After the mods, (187/3) x 4 = 249 hp. So a bit high as well.
This is a long way from 280/290 hp.
