Yes, very much so. The O2 is very important for A/F.

So we have O2 sensor codes on BOTH banks ?
Could it be setting these at startup with a faulty air injection pump / circuit ?
I think it would throw the P0410. It may have been a slightly bad O2 on bank 2 but a completely shot one on bank 1 for every cylinder to missfire.
