when i had a manual i used to leave it in neutral. i knew a few people that would put it in first, but i was afraid if the car was hit it could screw something up. i've never heard of putting it in reverse. i wonder the different reasons between first and reverse. when my crossfire comes in i plan on leaving it in neutral unless somebody convinces me otherwise.
