Default Re: How Do I Remove the Center Lug Cover Plate?

Just pops off via the slot. Wrap of scotch tape around the blade is good. Key is to use something with a blade as wide as the slot and take care not to drop cap on floor when it comes free (could put a mat under).

Lug nuts take a 17mm socket. Impact makes easy but always thread the lug on by hand a few turns first. Most cross threads happen when a candidate for the Darwin award puts the stud in the wrench and fires (do my own work unless a/c or under warranty)

Also use a smidge of never-seize on lugs and nuts.

Sold the project Reatta & juggled RV to back of garage to free up the lift. I don't like the feel of the front rotors so replacing them and pads. Should just need to clean the calipers. Any secrets to bleeding ?
