Are you talking about on take off, or between shifts... The lag on take off can be cured with a device called a "sprint booster". You will then get instant throttle. The lag between shift can somewhat be cured, although not completely, by doing the throttle reset a few times, then drive it like you stole it, so the ECU will learn you like to drive more aggressive. The ECU actually learns your driving style. You can also unhook the positive cable on the battery to reset as well...kind of like rebooting a computer...
