I couldn't be any happier with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's. Incredible traction in all conditions (so far). I haven't driven them on snow or ice yet.

Yes - Post Wavetrac, I noticed a significant difference in the stability when I went over to the Pilots. I have 17x255 PS2's on the rear and 17x225's on the front, + they are a top speed rated "Y" road tyre.
A little pricey but they are the weakest link.
