I'm not positive, but I would think that our super chargers are limited to what engine they would fit, so that limits his audience of buyers. If paying him more money to make him feel better is worth it to you, then there are a lot of sellers on here that would love to make a deal with you
The S/C is 8+ years old and you have no idea how abused it was from the previous owners. Although it's rare for the chargers to go belly up, you are still taking all the risk, so remember that when you make your offer.

I have insulted a lot of people in my day. Give me his name and I will make him the offer. Then ask how he came about it since it was a warranty item at the dealership and should have been destroyed. Then again, maybe that is old retired cop in me is coming out. It wouldn't be worth more than 200 bucks to me....they are out there. There isn't anything wrong with it other than the pulley. It's no use to anyone as these will run a million miles. Even modded. I may pick up a used one someday just to polish out for esthetics...... Good luck whatever you do, but you asked...
