Default Lights out in Caledon

Our Hydro was out for nearly 45 hours from 8.40pm Friday until 5.20pm today. Temperature in the house went down to 52 deg.F.

I managed to keep my tropical fish tank around 74/75 deg F. all the time. I wrapped the tank with blankets and filled plastic bottles with hot water and floated them in the tank.

Our fireplace has not been used for 25 years and I dared not use it. Some clever D!ck was in the news, he filled his generator with gas while it was too hot and heated his house a bit too much. The firemen cooled it down for him, now it is covered in icicles.
