Default You've really done it this time Ollie

Santa just dropped off my a new lower right air duct so I can attach my black mesh grill, along with a new set of '07 Crossfire manuals (two different vendors).

Perhaps you all might have better things to be doing right now, but I wish all of you had the same temperature we're having right now, about 76F.

I say this in all selfishness. If any of you were also having A/C problems, I'll bet there would be more chatter on this ever so exciting thread.

I skimmed a bit to the HVAC system at the end of the 3rd manual. Among other things, it says the A/C system holds 4.40 oz of oil. I'm sure I've wiped up more than that which doesn't even take into consideration what it looses while I'm driving.

I'm still getting oil right underneath the front of the compressor and the A/C does work, though doesn't seem to get nearly as cold as it originally was, but still pretty cold.

With my anemic 'racing floor jack' I don't really like lifting the front up with it, but will to see if somehow the oil pan is cracked...or?

With that in mind, if you pull the engine dipstick out, wipe off the end, push it back (where it goes through some narrow area), then pull it back out, will there be oil on the end if it is really low on oil? My concern is that there is oil on the walls of this narrowed down area and I keep getting false readings.

Still shooting in the dark.
