I was really lucky finding this site. My Crossie quit at a stopsign. All the dash lights worked, it just would not crank. Because of what I learned on this thread I was able to take printouts of the RCM to my auto mechanic, who determined that 6 connections were loose. He soldered them and no problem since.

I think the two issues are the RCM and/or the crankshaft sensor? Am I correct?
I'm so grateful to the knowledge on this site. It's saved me hundreds.
