Wow....DJ my friend. I always thought I was patient in my builds and waiting on parts. But, 2 yrs is a long time to wait. I have been working on the coupe for 3 yrs now, and making progress on each new feature added. But, 2 yrs and no results wouldn't cut for me. Glad you are hanging in there.


As for changing from s/c to turbo.... Bryan, who I really like and respect, has been working on doing just that. He has been working on his build for over 3 yrs as well as I remember. Progressing right along as he has time to work on it. It kicked my butt in the half mile event earlier last year. By about 13-15 mph if I remember correctly. We didn't get to run side by side. Maybe this year we will get to do that.


I know of another member running a rear mounted turbo along with s/c. But I don't know enough about that build to comment.


So, others are experimenting...and I could see another company with MB car knowledge taking this project on. Going to come down to who can build the tuning into the wacked out ECU....communication seems the be the problem...on both the build here and the car talking to it's self...lol
