If Ford had done a '65 retro version or a true '70 version, I think they would have had a winner. I am an ole' Camaro guy, and I don't think Chevy hit a home run at all. I was hoping for a retro '69....or even the next gen '70, but it wasn't going to happen. If I ever dump the XF's, which I don't see that happening, I will build another Camaro. My old '71 body is still around. It had many a motor from when I bought it in '72, but it is still in one piece. Well, I think it is still in one piece...they may be rusty pieces today. But nothing fiberglass panels can't take car of. You figure today, you can go to Summit, Jegs, etc. Pretty much buy the whole driver train. Body, gauges, suspension are pretty straight forward...50 grand turn key race car.
