I found this ad on AutoTrader.com early this morning. I contacted dealer immediately. Over a period of the next 6+ hours I went back and forth talking with the salesman (Dan) and the sales manager (Joseph). Finally the General Manager Mike refused to make a deal with me.
First they claimed the advertised price was a mistake and that was their cost on the car not the asking price but the salesman went to the sales manager with a copy of the AutoTrader ad and he agreed to honor the price saying "we are reputable dealership so we will honor the advertised price". I tried to give them a $1,000.00 deposit.
Then they started back-peddling . . . next they claimed their actual cost was $12,047 because the car had gone through their service department. I offered to step up and buy the car for that amount and tried again to give them a deposit.
Then they claimed that in addition to the $12,047 there was a dealer fee of $469.00 that I would have to pay. After thinking it over I called them back and offered to step up and pay $12,047.00 + the $469.00 dealer fee and again tried to give them a deposit.
They again back-peddled and came back saying that the General Manager (Mike) refused to sell the car for that price.
About 8 hours after saying that their ad was a mistake, I see that the ad is still running unchanged. THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP! Certainly they have a very nice, well cared for SRT6 but I wouldn't deal with them now if they had the last Crossfire SRT6 on the planet!
Maybe someone who wants the car can go to the dealership in person and cut a reasonable deal??
Note the photo of the radio & A/C controls. I'm sure someone here or with CICCI (Itsky) can figure out who owned that clean low mileage SRT6 . . .

PS - I ran a CarFax report on the car and it came back clean . . . no accidents / one owner car / mileage checks out . . . This is a nice one!
