Welcome. The steering in these cars is ............well,............. considered pretty standard Mercedes numb feel. The steering wheel will slowly auto correct but not like most cars. Your really need to "Steer" these cars in and out of turns. Personally, I like having to steer it. I'm used to it and it makes me feel like I'm driving the car. You may have a slower response than expected for other reasons as well. Calibration, steering stabilizer bar, etc. may play a factor too. However, I expect what you are experiencing is pretty much the standard response for these cars.
