I'm getting another XF, but a 6 speed this time. I plan on boost of some sort. Not sure what the hold up has been with BEGI other than a scam, guys have been boosting NA SLK320's. Surely Eurotune or Kleeman has a way to open the ECU for reprograming the fuel maps? Kleeman's KD box should allow for tuning to mild boost with out a huge headache.
The only thing preventing boost is the ECU, if I have to, I'll go stand alone. I run a stand alone on my Porsche. Apexi makes a system that will piggy back with the M112 engine.
And again, IF you succeed, you will be the first to pull it off. Let's see. The car is now 10 yrs old and no one has successfully done it yet. 2 SRT's so far, but not 100% done. In 2 weeks we should know something.
