I'm pretty sure you could keep the existing ECU and other systems, alter fuel and spark. The issues I see is the ECU going limp because a foreign module's at work trying to control fuel and spark. And you will lose phase shift twin spark. It could be a mess, or it could work, and be somewhat good of a half assed system. It's still a company's universal system that isn't designed for these engines specifically. Ultimately IMO you're better off with a 32 AMG ECU that knows exactly what to do with this engine and boost in this style engine, and have it fine tuned by Eurocharged or someone who knows these engines. Bosch may have put the hardware on the circuit boards for our ECU's but they did not come up with any of the software. IMO the MB software is what you want for a MB engine. lol
I am somewhat bias though, because it's not hard for me to do. I already started my 6-speed with a 32 AMG ECU... Getting the other end of the phone to is the hard part if they don't have DAS.
