Default new guy from TX

Hello all,

I am new to the forum and do not yet have a crossfire but I'm working on it!
My wife has an awesome MB 2002 CL500 that although is immaculate, I think needs to be replaced before it starts to eat me out of house and home!

That being said, her expectations are high. I have taught her vehicle respect and admiration the past few years and I, apparently, have created a MONSTER!

I hope the Crossfire will handle well and be quick, if not fast, but I expect it to be both; I'm not jibbing or insulting anyone but coming from the V8 world there is a difference between quick and fast.

And, obviously, because it will be my wife's DD I need it to be safe and reliable.

I am a Reserve Navy engineer and prior 10 year active; I am also a Harley Factory trained tech and have owned my own Service/repair business so I am BIG on maintenance and preventative mojo.

I also want a car that I can "massage" a little as she wouldn't even let me touch her Benz as it seems I got pulled over a lot, and as there aren't too many options for the xfire there are enough to keep me busy and it is definitely a little easier to work on than her w215 or my B5.5 Passat wagon.

I hope to learn a lot here; I am not a troll but I will not post much as I find most things have been stated in other posts etc. I will be new to this forum but I am/have been a member of many from dodge magnum, titantalk, jeep grand wagoneer(the original one!) and numerous Harley sites etc.

I love the looks of the xfire and have since I first saw them in 05 coming back from overseas but I had ordered an 05 Magnum R/T and I LOVED that car.I am glad my wife is open to the crossfire and is almost as excited as I am; it's hard to leave heated/ventilated massage seats!

I am def a Mopar fan and my wife is a Benz fan so we get the best of Both worlds! Can't lose, right?

I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know I'm not a troll or spammer and hopefully we will be in the crossfire family by the weekend!

Tim
