I was in the same spot as you and bought an SRT6 after trading in my Limited and wrecking my C55. I couldn't resist buying an SRT6 but now that I am in the market to sell no one is buying . I did get offered $8000 the other day for my SRT.
I hear ya. I'm kind of torn honestly but there still isn't anything out there that speaks to me like the xfire does. (Well in my current price range anyway ) I do like the idea of having something like the BRZ with so many aftermarket options you can literally do whatever you want, inside and out. 350z are going for dirt now as well and have plenty of options. I have always been a huge fan of the RX-7 too. Ahhhhh, driving a ranger with close to 200,000 on it will have you looking at anything with Rose colored glasses though . You're definitely right about the money, the xfire is a cash pit anyway you look at it but I wouldn't be in it for the resale. (Although it would be nice to get something back out of it). Time will tell, I have a lot of work to do on my new (old) house too so who knows what this year will hold. There is a track opening up right out side of town this year and a dedicated SRT for the road course has really started to sound good. I appreciate the insight, will keep it in mind.
