Re: Turbo-New ideas & input
I first got into turbo systems with the idea of turbocharging my crossfire (back in early 05). I wound up developing the first turbo systems for the 05 and up LX cars and Cherokee's with the 5.7/6.1 hemi engine. Never got back to the crossfire. IF (big if), the manifold sections cast on the sides of the supercharger were available, or similar, it would be fairly easy to design an underhood system. You could pitch the NA intake and mount a turbo in the valley feeding a pair of SRT6 intake plenums. Would have to figure out what to do with any ecu actuated manifold short/long runner valves. Likely easier to use a modified srt6 ecu program (if could be reworked in certain areas). But is just idle thoughts. The ecu programing on modern vehicles is always the hardest aspect of forced induction.
