Another thing to consider is the tire dressing you're using. I used Armor All and a few others, including gels. They all attracted dust like a magnet.

Someone on another thread suggested "Wet 'n Black" by Turtle Wax. The directions say to spray it on but I use a sponge to apply it. So far I'm pretty happy with the results and it doesn't seem to attract as much dust as the other products I've tried.

Grant it, it's not the best shine I've had on a tire but it keeps them looking a nice color of black.

Keep us informed on your brake project. I too have had it with the dust. :twisted:
