Have started to experience what sounds like a rather common problem with my '05. Also in the a.m. and in the cold (freezing) temps. First time, code indicated "throttle position" problem and mechanic said either the gas pedal assembly or the actuator. Neither sounds like a cheap fix and don't know how to tell which is the problem, as it is intermittent. Ugh! This morning it did it again, almost stalled out but did not activate dash light. Was told the actuator ( I think this is the part with the circuit bd ??) might be able to be repaired, but the gas pedal assembly is $290 for the part. Can't they take mine out and check it somehow ?
