Some manufacturers stamp marks on their parts as they pass through inspections and processes. Some parts that are molded often have the year, month, day and sometimes the shift or hour the part was made molded into them. Some people put marks on the part by hand signifying that their part of the manufacturing process has been done and these marks would only have meaning to that person and maybe not even to their company.
